Lesotho Tourism Development Corporation (LTDC) collaborates with numerous stakeholders, including local businesses and international organizations, to enhance tourism development. In this regard, the LTDC usually initiates and supports endeavours that promote Lesotho internationally. This is in line with the mandate of the organization.

Tsela Tours and Adventures, a renowned local tour operator, received an invitation to attend KARIBU-KILIFAIR 2025. Tsela Tours is set to represent the country at the forthcoming Tourism Fair, which is East Africa’s leading tourism and industry fair. Scheduled from June 6 to 8, 2025, at the Magereza Grounds in Arusha, Tanzania, the event will host over 500 exhibitors from more than 15 countries and 500+ international semi-hosted buyers.

KARIBU-KILIFAIR is a vital platform for tourism professionals, including tour operators, accommodation facilities, travel agencies, event organizers, and artisans.  These various players can showcase their offerings, exploit the networking opportunity, and explore new markets. The fair features dynamic programs such as workshops, panel discussions, and cultural performances, offering insights into tourism trends, sustainability, and innovative strategies.

Participation of Tsela Tours and Adventures underlines Lesotho’s devotion to promoting its unique tourism experiences on an international arena. By interacting and networking with global industry leaders and potential partners at KARIBU-KILIFAIR, Tsela Tours aims to elevate Lesotho’s profile as a unique travel destination.

Tsela Tours and Adventure is a full-service tour operation business based in Maseru, Lesotho, focusing on customized and authentic travel experiences. Established in 2016, Tsela Tours has grown to become a leading company in Lesotho’s tourism industry, known for its professionalism and friendly service.

In an exclusive interview with the Founding Member and Managing Director of Tsela Tours and Adventures Mr. Kemang Leluma explained that attending a tourism fair is a rare opportunity granted to showcase what Lesotho has to offer: majestic mountains, rich cultural heritage, and unique highland experiences. “The ultimate goal is to position Tsela Tours and Adventures and Lesotho more prominently in the global travel space,” averred the Director.

LTDC’s Public Relations Manager a.i. concurred. He pointed out that Tsela Tours and Adventures’ attendance of the Karibu-KiliFair is a step in the right direction, as the initiative jells with LTDC objectives of promoting the country’s tourism industry and fostering international partnerships. He concluded: “We believe this is a golden opportunity to tap into the East African market and explore how we can attract this segment to increase the diversity of foreign tourists visiting Lesotho. We are hopeful that Tsela Tours’ participation at Karibu-Kili Fair will assist us in positioning Lesotho as a competitive, attractive, and unique travel option to potential tourists in East Africa.”
